What are the applicable scenarios of 316 stainless steel welded air duct with different thicknesses?

Thickness of 316L stainless steel fully welded air duct plate+corresponding applicable scenarios (general smoke exhaust/exhaust ventilation, argon arc full welding process).

Description: The thickness of the air duct is divided into five working conditions according to the length of the air duct: indoor kitchen smoke exhaust, outdoor open air, high humidity corrosion, high pressure and negative pressure, and high temperature waste gas.

1. 0.8mm 316L (thin plate)

Applicable long side of air duct: ≤300mm (small branch pipe, short connection, tuyere short pipe)

Kitchen smoke exhaust branch pipe, equipment air inlet connection short pipe, purification equipment import and export small nozzle;

Small branch air ducts in the ceiling of the seafood kitchen and local exhaust pipes in the food workshop;

Normal pressure, short distance, no negative pressure and no wind vibration;

Disabled: main air duct, outdoor riser and long-span suspended air duct.

2. 1.0mm 316L (the most commonly used standard thickness in engineering)

Applicable long side: 300 ~ 630 mm, indoor main pipe/indoor main exhaust pipe.

Main indoor smoke exhaust duct (indoor ceiling, no rain) in coastal seafood restaurant and marinated kitchen;

Normal temperature exhaust supervisor of food processing workshop and pickling workshop;

Corrosion of waste gas pipeline in indoor embedded pipe trench and semi-closed shaft;

Atmospheric pressure system, fan soft connected to the rear indoor main pipeline;

1.0mm 316L is the first choice for indoor conventional heavy oil smoke exhaust.

Iii. 1.2mm 316L (thickened universal model)

Applicable long sides: 630 ~ 1000 mm, outdoor riser, short outdoor air duct.

Outdoor open-air risers and wall-mounted smoke exhaust pipes for coastal projects (sun exposure+salt spray rain);

Main smoke exhaust pipe in big kitchen, high-oil and high-humidity smoke exhaust pipe in frying/barbecue;

Mild negative pressure exhaust, dust removal duct, waste gas duct in slaughter workshop;

Ceiling main air duct with long span and large hanger spacing.

Iv. 1.5mm 316L (heavy-duty thickening)

Suitable for long side > ＞1000mm, high pressure/negative pressure, high temperature waste gas and chemical waste gas.

Main smoke exhaust main pipe of large central kitchen and long-distance smoke exhaust supervisor of basement;

Chemical pickling waste gas, acid-base steam exhaust, high-temperature flue gas pipeline with temperature above 180℃;

Head of open-air super-long overhead air duct and open-air laying on the roof of seaside;

Dust removal negative pressure system, high-pressure air duct at the front end of fan, frequent vibration pipeline.

Five, 2.0mm and above 316L (extra-thick customization)

High temperature process exhaust (flue gas above 250℃), strong corrosive chemical waste gas main pipe;

Unsupported large-span suspended air duct and process exhaust with severe vibration of equipment;

Anti-corrosion air duct with deep underground trench and long-term immersion in condensed water (most chemical projects, few catering).

Additional rules for supplementary selection

Same size: outdoor > indoor thickness plus one file.

Example: the indoor 600 air duct is 1.0mm, and the outdoor open air of the same specification is changed to 1.2mm；;

Heavy oil+high-salt seafood kitchen: the overall thickness rises by one step;

Negative pressure/dust removal system: uniformly thickened by 0.2 ~ 0.3 mm;

Bite is strictly prohibited in 316L, all argon arc welding shall be carried out, and the thin plate shall be 0.8/1.0 to minimize long-span suspension.
